7 Social Media Marketing Trends for 2015

#1 Mobile Usage Explodes

Mobile usage is on the increase for social media. In 2015, Facebook reached 1 billion active mobile users a month (Statistica). The increase in mobile usage goes hand in hand with Mobile specific apps, such as Snapchat.

Business are moving towards active engagement with their followers and use of social media for customer service. This is probably due to the ability to schedule content through platforms such as Hootsuite and Tweetdeck, which allows more of a focus on interactions.

#7 Brand interaction with Bloggers and Vloggers

Bloggers and Vloggers are also on the up, and this includes ‘sponsorship’ from brands and companies. There is a massive increase in bloggers, from beauty YouTubers like Zoella (below) who review make up to travel bloggers such as Globertrotterguru who get complimentary hotel stays.
